Identify the affected page, service and year. Link to a first-party notice that explicitly covers the date and service. A general federal holiday list is not enough to change a carrier or retailer status.

Preserved selected dates and time zones in guide links, refreshes, shared URLs and browser navigation. Added common service search terms, actual-holiday defaults and direct federal-observance comparisons.
Improved mobile reading and touch targets, separated schedule links from official sources, added a local-services directory, and provided single-year calendar files with import instructions.

Published the guide for public search discovery, with all service and holiday guides available. The date-level evidence and unconfirmed labels remain visible; publication does not turn an unverified schedule into a confirmed answer.

Made local checks available directly on location-dependent cards, added a concrete 2027 example for unconfirmed schedules, and brought the federal calendar download onto the home page. The download is a one-time import, without automatic updates or reminders.
Added source-backed retail closures: seven recurring Costco warehouse holidays within 2026–2027, Walmart Thanksgiving and Christmas 2026, and Target’s standing Thanksgiving policy. Other dates stay location-specific; the 2026 Walmart announcement is not extrapolated to 2027.
Consolidated the full checker’s canonical URL with Home and added a PNG sharing image. Both production and preview publication settings were tested before the public release.

Kept unreviewed 2027 Nasdaq, postal and carrier operations unconfirmed. Local school, retail and public-service answers remain location-specific. The initial preview was excluded from indexing before the public release.
